Indian Rocks Home
The site dimensions determined the geometry and the concept of the residence. Since the site is very long and narrow, openness, transparency and spatial connections were very important to the design. A terrace effect was developed, encouraging exterior circulation between spaces; from the elevated pool deck and social gathering spaces to the top master suit. The terracing helps create a boundary at the public side of the house “street” and a more transparent façade at the beach side. The terraces also provide a transition to public (lower level) to private (upper lever).
